“The 19CB is the layout Airstream built for two people who want the aluminum trailer without the aluminum trailer’s usual length. The front of the coach is a living room rather than a bedroom β two facing bench seats around a pedestal table, under panoramic front windows, converting to a second sleeping surface β and the bed sits at the rear behind a privacy curtain, with overhead lockers and a wardrobe alongside. The galley is better equipped than nineteen feet suggests: a three-burner LP cooktop with a real oven below it, a convection microwave, a stainless vent hood, a stainless sink, and a 4 cu. ft. gas/electric refrigerator. What separates this from a conventional trailer is the shell β a semi-monocoque riveted aluminum superstructure with aluminum interior walls and ceiling, hand-crafted welded aluminum window frames, and an enclosed insulated aluminum underbelly over a 5/8" tongue-and-groove wood floor. Outside it wears a Zip Dee awning, two 30 lb LP tanks, a powered tongue jack, and stylized aluminum wheels on a single torsion axle with Nev-R-Lube bearings and Nev-R-Adjust brakes. The federal certification tag gives a factory weight of 4,001 lbs against a 4,500 lb GVWR, leaving 499 lbs of cargo capacity β enough for a well-packed couple, and worth planning around before you load. The weight-distribution and sway-control hitch comes with it.”

Tire Information
We want to be direct about this one. The federal certification tag calls for ST225/75R15 load range E tires inflated to 80 psi cold on 15×7 rims. The DOT date code recorded reads 4318 β the 43rd week of 2018, and the trailer itself was built in December 2018, which tells us these are the original factory tires, roughly eight years old and never replaced. The house guidance we give every buyer is that RV tires are commonly replaced at around six years of age regardless of remaining tread, and can reasonably be run as long as ten years only when they are inspected annually by a professional tire company after the six-year mark. These are past that six-year line, so plan on a professional inspection at minimum and budget for replacement. A full-size spare is standard equipment on this model but is not present on this unit, and it rides on a single axle, which means a roadside flat is a stop-and-wait rather than a limp-home β replacing the spare is worth doing. Your RV Broker will walk the date codes on both wheel positions with you during inspection.
