Super C RVs

What is a Super C RV?

A Super C Recreational Vehicle is a motorhome with a similar Class C coach design, but a larger chassis and more powerful diesel fueled engine. Unlike your typical Class C vehicles, the engine on a Super C RV is built on a heavy-duty front-engine chassis that makes for more luxurious travel and the capability to tow heavy equipment. Most Super C RVs are built with an overhead bunk and attached cab that provide additional space and more stability to tow another vehicle. The Super C RV is a great alternative to a Class A motorhome.

What Chassis Does the Super C RV Use?

The chassis on Super C's are much bigger than other Class C RVs, typically with the Ford E-450 Chassis or a comparable Chevrolet Chassis. Super C's are essentially large trucks carrying a mothorhome.

What Makes a Super C RV Different?

Super C RVs also come with luxury amenities such as plush leather seating, private baths, modern, spacious kitchens, and have a true home away from home feel as a whole. There's plenty of storage and a high towing capacity, which allows for long, rugged adventures that require a trailer, boat, or other large vehicle brought along for the ride.

How much does a Super C RV Cost?

While a new Super C RV can cost upwards of $150,000 to $600,000, used Super C RVs can start as low as half that at $75,000.

Benefits of a Super C RV

The Super C falls under the normal Class C regular driver's license, which can make hitting the road easier, but what other benefits does it have? How does it compare to other Class C RVs and the larger Class A motorhomes?

Wider Wheel Base

Super C RVs have a wider base than many RVs, even Class A motorhomes. This makes the Super C RV well designed for varying weather conditions, and safer for many drivers.

Extra Storage Space

They also have more storage space similar to a Class A motorhome that other Class C motorhomes don't have.

Additional Floor Space

Being wider, Super Cs also benefit from feeling roomier and more cozy for family time and the additional floor space.

Powerful Towing Capacity

Similar to the heavy duty trucks that you can see with moving companies, Super C RVs can pull more than their share of weight in tow. That means they can hold up to 8 people, plenty of stuff in storage, and a even boat at the end.

Durable and Easy to Repair

Since the Super C RV is built on a 450 chassis, they are more durable to long, rough drives comparatively to Class A motorhomes. On the flip side, if there is damage, most mechanics are more comfortable working on them.
